A fan of percussion, deep bass, and electronic patterns, Eau Vive prefers to follow her flow and the moods that shift with the tides. She’s a DJ who tells stories for the mutants twerking between two chairs. She draws rhythms from wherever she feels like it, but especially from the collections of clubs in Black, Afro-Creole, and Latin diasporas. Bubbling, kuduro, logobi, and batida collide with acidic sounds, which she spices up with vogue beats.
